Images of the phallus and phallic art can be seen on cave paintings, Roman, Egyptian, Sumerian and other ancient cultures. In Greece, the phallus, or phallus-bird was a symbol of good fortune and protected people against evil. My painting phallic art is a modern-day abstraction of this multi-cultural and historic image.
